How do I pay for therapy?

Payment is due at the time of service. You may pay with any major debit, credit card, FSA/HSA card, and we also have limited sliding scale pay spots.


Do you take insurance?

We are in network with most insurance companies. Please contact us to verify your insurance benefits. We can also accept out-of-network which means you pay upfront for therapy and then we send you a Superbill after your therapy session that you submit to your insurance for reimbursement, It is advised that you double-check with your insurance company to see if they provide reimbursement.


How do I know if I need therapy?

If you have felt anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, stressed sad, lonely, angry, dealing with relationship or family difficulties, problems with boundaries, trauma, or a difficult life experience, addiction or grief, therapy is right for you.
Psychotherapy has also been shown to have great benefits for people who go through the process. Therapy often leads to improved relationship(s), solutions to specific problems, and a significant reduction in feelings of distress.


What is the cancellation policy?

You must cancel 48 hours of your session time, or you may be charged the full rate of your session. This allows us to offer the time slot to someone else who may want it. You can text or call (210) 793-3311 or (877) 336-4552 to cancel. We try to respect your time and ask the same in return. We appreciate your understanding of our policy.


Will online counseling be effective?

Most people find online counseling to be just as effective as in-person therapy. Many people prefer the ease of online therapy from their own space. We send you a video link for your appointments to your email and you just login when it’s time for your appointment, If you are in Texas we are happy to offer you online therapy.
